According to the Hunan Provincial Department of Ecology and Environment (Xiang Huan Fa [ [Document No. 16, 2024] Notice on the Announcement of the List of Key Enterprises for Clean Production Audits in Hunan Province for 2024: Xiangxiang Modern Environmental Energy Co., Ltd. has been included in the list of key enterprises required to undergo clean production audits. To conscientiously fulfill our obligation to protect the ecological environment, proactively accept oversight from the public, and comply with relevant regulations such as the People’s Republic of China Clean Production Promotion Law and the Clean Production Audit Measures, we are committed to effectively advancing initiatives aimed at energy conservation, resource reduction, pollution minimization, and efficiency enhancement—thus ensuring the successful implementation of all clean production-related tasks. 6 The month marks the full-scale launch of our clean production audit process. We are now publicly disclosing key preliminary information about our unit, along with basic details and the current status of pollutant emission controls. Environmental risk prevention and control measures:
The company has established a temporary storage area for general industrial solid waste and another for hazardous waste. All hazardous waste is entrusted to qualified organizations for proper handling, and detailed records of hazardous waste are maintained in real time. Additionally, the floor of the hazardous waste storage area has been treated with an impermeable lining, and the facility is equipped with drainage ditches and collection tanks to prevent leakage or runoff of waste liquids.
