Yet, the four-sided sealing version can also handle heavier products like rice or cat litter.

4. Stand-up pouch with mouth-shaped design:

The spout-shaped stand-up pouch combines the convenience of a stand-up pouch with a spout—and the affordability of a regular stand-up pouch. Specifically, it leverages the pouch’s own unique shape to function as a built-in spout. However, this spout-style stand-up pouch cannot be resealed, making it ideal for packaging single-use liquid, gel-like, or semi-solid products such as beverages and jellies.

5. Unique-shaped stand-up pouch:

These are various new types of stand-up pouches created by modifying traditional bag designs to meet packaging needs, such as waisted shapes, bottom-deformation designs, and handle features. This approach currently represents the primary direction for adding value to stand-up pouches.
